My plan was 1 1.5" each corner for drain to sump
My return from sump will just come over the back with PVC

For closed loop:
1 1.5" for drain for closed loop center/mid level of tank
2 1" returns for closed loop a foot apart left & right from drain

Any suggestion / comments will be much appreciated

Thanks in advance

i have a 120g that i just plumbed up!

My closed loop is 2-1.5 drains connecting to a "T" then down to the pump....the return is 1 in to a 4-way SeaSquirt with 4-3/4th outputs....each flexed pvc to 3/4 bulkheads in top of tank.
then i used the savko black pvc for inside the tank....no white pvc here.

Also, the 1.5in drain is all black....:)

are you using a strainer in your CL drains or are you connecting the 2 like a spray bar?

What is a spray bar?
i was planning on hooking the returns up to loclines. the one with a Y. so i can get for directions for the nozzles.

BTW this is for 135 gallon glass tank.

I have the 1.5in strainers on each one.....i also installed the bulkheads backwards.....threaded piece on inside.....this allows me to use a 90 SLP fitting on the inside....which rotates in a 360 fashion....giving me the option to have the strainer in any direction.......

shouldn't you be able to do that when the bulkhead is installed either way? I guess you have a thread/slip bulkhead?
