Disenfecting QT Equipment

Hi -

I've lost three fish from my qt. For reasons unknown. :(

What should I do with my qt equipment - wipe down with bleach solution and rinse REALLY WELL?

Bleach or vinegar will work just fine.

make sure you rinse real well. are ou starting out with a seeded sponge filter?

I went with bleach instead. 2/3 cup to 2.5 gallons. Then I rinsed dried. And then I rinsed and dried again.

sounds good if it feel slimey it may still have bleach. fill the tank and let it sit for 24 hours if you are worried the chlorine will eveporate.
