After seeing my brother beautiful clams i always wanted one. I have two 65W PC brand new in my tank, I was wondering if I could maybe get one, I know it wouldnt be the most colorful, probably brown with some cool pattern but that is ok, and it would be the one I would learn from. Also im saving up so i can by 1 250W Metal Halide in the summer! So do you think it would be ok?
Thanks,
Patrick

For most clams I think MH or very good T-5 lighting is best. Some clams must have great lighting actually. The MH should be fine. I would wait till they are in place though.

PCs are not enough for clams, even for the lower light ones. Save your money and then you can get the one you want!
