hi, need to order light for my new 75 gallon.

I have live rock and plan to add some corals that are not to hard to maintain.

I like the coralife lunar aQualite 2x65 watt 10,000k and 2xactinic 03.

would this be good or would something like a t-5 tek lite be better?

just worried I will order one and then wish I had chosen something else.

another thing I like about the coralife is the built in moon lites.

apparently a big thing with t-5 is the reflector quality.

any help deciding would be super!

I went with T5's and am very happy I did so. As for moonlights, I'm not a fan of them. To me, they look like blue spotlights.

You might as well go with metal halide now, you will most likely want them later on, but if I had to choose between the two you list, I would go with the T5's.

I agree, halide is nice if you can afford them, but T5 is a good alternative to halide...probably the best alternative IMO.

Go with dual 250's. Thats what I have and I think its perfect, not too much at the top and has the ability to keep softies at the bottom. Of course it all depends on what you want to keep. If you want softies only then T5 will be sufficient.
