Ok so I have had my 10gal nano going for a little over a year. It was scratched up and chipped up and i got tired of looking at it so I picked up one of the 12gal deluxe nano cubes. I am wondering how I should transfer my live stock and cycle my tank. I was going to put 10# of sand in it and put a little of the sand from my 10gal in there to help it. I figured I would throw some rock from the 10gal and hope it cycles fairly quick. I would just transfer coral by coral till it is all transfered and stable. Does anyone think this is a good idea or have any other ways I should do it?

thanks

Pretty good idea, just take any livestock slow though.

Ok so I was thinking about moving a bit of lr and sand from my 10g to my 12g, does anyone see a problem with moving the sand?

I've done it before. Your best bet is to use mostly new sand and just use a cup or two of your old sand to seed the new sand bed. You'll see a bit of a mini cycle, but nothing that can't be taken care of with water changes. You may also see some diatoms/cyano around the 2 or 3 week mark.
