As the Pacific ocean is so close, I get my water there. Yet when I started this 30G tank, I added a chunck of stringy red algae. Common to the West coast. I removed it recently.
Question is: As the tank is outside and exposed to sunlight, would leaving this algae in be a problem/benificial?
Temp ranges from 35F to 52F lately.
