Neon green algae spots...

Hi Anthony, is this signs of coraline algae growing? Will it eventually turn pink or purple? Thanks in advance.

IME, the lime green is a precurser to purple/pink coraline. Almost every chunk of new rock I have ever added has done this.

I am pretty excited to see it starting to grow. LOL But I am dreading the day I will have to battle with cleaning it off the front from what I've been reading. Thanks Randall.

Nothing to dread :D it is not very aggressive and if you run your magfloat daily, it will not be an issue. I have never had the lime green version on the glass, that is always the red/purple stuff

If your tank is acrylic, life is a bit tougher I guess. I have all glass tanks and the stuff comes right off.
