I've got a 3/4" Sea Swirl that I used for about 4-5 months before replacing it with a small Tunze Stream. Since it's been collecting dust for about a year now and I thought I'd see if anyone was interested in a local trade.

I'm primarily interested in colorful zoanthids (no pinks), Crocea clams or SPS frags. If you want to purchase the sea swirl, I'll take $110 plus shipping. If you have any other offers you'd like to make, let me know.

Check out the following for a description:

Basically, it's a rotating water return.

Sounds like something I could use in my tank. It's starting to fill up w/less open spots & more possibility of dead spots in the back. Anyone else using one of these? Are they any good?

Did you have it on a glass tank or an acrylic tank?? Im trying to figure out how I would mount it in my tank...

Or maybe a picture of how it mounts on the tank??

I am in Naperville and might be interested in this. What type of SPS are you interested in? How many? Size? Zoanthids?

Thanks,

Todd

Sellout007 - I had it mounted on a glass aquarium, but it wasn't very secure with my hood design. Unfortunately, I don't have an image showing the how it is normally mounted, but quite a few people use these without a problem.

Poppy828 - I'd be happy with 6 average frags 2" or so depending on what they are. I've got plenty green and brown/purple Montipora digitata, but I'd be interested in colored Pocillopora, most Acropora, most foliaceous Montipora. Unusual multicolored Zoanthids would also be welcome. Let me know what you've got to frag and I'll consider it.

I have two Sea Swirls (on my 320 gallon SPS tank. They do an excellent job. However, when you mount them, you have to glue them or melt them by heating the PVC so that they do not fall out. Mine fell out three times each and they blow sand like crazy when they do. So, a little prevention is worth while. But, I recommend them highly.
