Law and Order?

I was just womdering what everyone thinks about "Law and Order". If they watch it or something, I watch it all the time and I think it is one of the best cop shows out there. Just want to know what you think of it.

I don't watch TV often, but it is one of the shows I watch when I do. I prefer the episodes with courtroom scenes, and with twists.

I like the SVU ones, with detective Benson and Stabler. I also like the courtroom scenes, as they are more interesting, but sometimes they can get a little boring.

I like the older episodes with Sam waterson (Jack McCoy in Law and Order).

Yes, those are good too. He plays an excellent ADA ( he's a cut-throat ADA though, I wouldn't want to be on trial with him prosecuting me :lol: ) Jerry Orbach (Lenny Briscoe) died amlost a year ago, I think, he was a good actor, too

We've always watched it- I really miss Lenny- he's the 'spittin image of my Dad, same dry humor.

I watch L&O just about every time it is on on. I really like it when the channel that carries L&O here does a marathon of episodes. Time to call in sick.

We like SVU and the original Law and Order, but I can't stand Criminal Intent. That guy is just sooo condescending and annoying that I just can't watch that one. But the other two are staples in our house.

Did anyone ever see Chris Malani (Stabler) on Oz? He was amazingly sick on that show. You see a little of it on SVU, but he was positively wicked on Oz!!!!!

Yeppers... I am hooked on all of them!!! I watch it everyday, sorta sad when I type it out like that... But I enjoy them, the old ones especially as was said, I loved Lenny... His character was great, and he did it very well... It took me quite a few episodes to get used to the Criminal Intent ones, Cheryl your right he does get on my nerves... But I still watch it, and is it me or does her hair always look like it needs to be washed??? :rolleyes: , needless to say, I still watch it... And I love Crossing Jordan, and CSI, although I don't like the Miami one...

I agree, and he just makes inferences so farfetched that they don't even seem real anymore. And it's Chris Meloni ;)

L&O rocks. Although i prefer the original seasons 1-4. They were the classics. Yeah, Lenny Brisco made the show. when he stopped, and then passed away, ive almost sopped watching it now. :( The actors are not as good.

The Sheild is a great show, cant wait for Season 4! (im in Aus, so were behind the US. )

I like Law and Order, but The Sheild is the best cop show of all time, IMO. If you have'nt seen it, rent season 1 on DVD, and you will be hooked.

He was great in Full Metal Jacket. Great role - great character. That was a great part for him. He played it perfectly!!!!

Still don't like him in CI, but loved him in FMJ!!!!!

This is absolutely my favorite series ever!! :D I'm addicted to SVU and anyone that knows me, knows not to bug me on Tues nights lol b/c I don't answer my phone. It's a weekly ritual lol. I try to catch the regular L&O and CI when I have time, but I don't miss an episode of SVU, but it's pretty much the only time I actually sit to watch tv. :D
