Gulf-View-premo rock quality varies

About a year and a half ago, I ordered 60lbs of premium live rock from Gulf-View, and the quality was outstanding, as was the customer service. This time, my order was only 30 lbs, and there were many large orders ahead of me, and the quality was dissapointing for $6/lb plus $53 shipping.

I would advise someone considering a purchase of their top of the line rock to postpone until they have some truly great rock in stock or bargain for a lower price. Their customer service is still outstanding.

You must consider the bad weather we've had during hurricane season for the past two years down here in FL. Couple that with the Red Tide, and there's not much primo left..... the hurricanes toppled, covered, and scattered the rock sites, and the red tide killed alot of stuff in the Gulf.
