Oh, yum. I like to peel the chocolate/marshmallow off the cookie part, eat the cookie part first, then eat the chocolate marshmallow last.
Yummmm - got milk?

It just moved.
Allright, allow me to explain:
Mallomars are the best cookie in the world.
Say it with me: Mallomars. They sound exactly like they taste. Sweet, soft in the middle Mallomars, rolling on the Mallomars tongue Mallomars. All rounded corners and smooth glass brown chocolate Mallomars. Yes I said yes I will Yes Mallomars. Mmmm. Allomars.
Remember Meg Ryan's famous “orgasm scene in "When Harry Met Sally?" Its that kind of good. Hmmmm....
Anyway, this popular cookie—a sublime and elusive blend of graham cracker, marshmallow and a pure dark chocolate coating—is simply not available during the summer months.
SO EVERY FALL, amid the kind of hype that typically accompanies the return of the swallows to Capistrano, Nabisco rolls out the red carpet for the beloved Mallomar.
Because the chocolate would supposedly melt during shipping, Nabisco says it can only offer the Mallomar from early October through April.
So get some now and stock up while you have a chance.

oz, I never heard of a Mallomars. The combination of graham cracker, marshmallow and chocolate is known as a Smore. Go to Google and "define:smore". I dunno why you can not have this during the summer months. Go to your local Cosi (http://www.getcosi.com/) restaurant and order the Smores kit.
no no no....no no. definitely not the same thing.
I just can't believe you guys never had Mallomars cookies.
Not being available during the summer months is some kind of Nabisco marketing thing (I don't understand myself) sort of like the XBOX 360 marketing thing of Microsoft.

Unbeatable Taste of Mallomars
If you live in the Northeast, Mallomars are fairly easy to come by from October to May. But others who live elsewhere are not so fortunate-and some poor souls have never tried these famous cookies at all. Made since 1913 by Nabisco (then called the National Biscuit Company) in a single Pennsylvania bakery, Mallomars have a thick layer of marshmallow on a graham cracker base, all covered in pure dark chocolate. They have earned avid devotees for decades, for reasons that will be clear as soon as you taste one. We suggest you stock up now, because they stop making Mallomars every summer, and you won't want to do without. Each 8 oz. package contains 18 cookies.
(Available September - May)
Look for them in your store or online.

You know, I never knew why I couldn't find them in the store in the summer. You have solved one of the many mysteries of life!!!! They are back on the grocery list as of now!!!
I actually like to put them in the fridge so the marshmallow is a bit colder and the chocolate more brittle. We used to call them "daddy cookies" because my father loved them and would hog the whole box. He used to count how many were in there and would yell "who took daddy's cookies" so for years, I really thought they were called "daddy cookies."
Man, the head games parents play on their kids. I need a Mallomar!!!!
