I recently got some new lights and with Christmas coming up, nieces, and nephews to buy for I decided to sell my 400 Watt Metal Halide set up. Its a single bulb, single socket style. If your local you can pick it up otherwise I can ship it.
I'm not sure if it’s an electronic ballast or magnetic. It runs virtually silent, but weighs about ten pounds on a bathroom scale. The reflector has a piece of tempered glass to prevent damage from splashing. The cord from the ballast to the socket is almost 20 feet so you can place the ballast away from your display if you don't have the room in your stand etc. The bulb has some use on it but I think its still good. With 400 watts, you'll be able to keep pretty much any light demanding reef life you want.
The pics are in my gallery if I mess up posting them here. Sorry, for the "white out, I couldn't figure out how to resize the pics to post them but I was able to post them by erasing the margins. I can email full pics if anyone wants them.
If anyone has, any more questions let me know and I'll try to answer them.
