they are eating salmon :) Konrad nope! Yours is still in Hawaii swimming :) Ill work on that when the time comes.

ya chris i know how you feel. for the longest time i had to watch my tank at night to make sure the 300lb ninja wasn't trying to steal my blue squammie.

i have a mental image of the bevelry hills ninja. Konrad in black PJ's sneaking around Williston Park.

chris's eels are reef safe wont go after any inverts and are the smallest you can get. and quite stunning.

i have a pair coming to me sometime soon so then i can take my pics and show off

i should tied chris up and took them home as early xmas presents when i was there. but i will eventually get a pair also they are great little eels

Chris,
Stop by the Petco on Jerico, the one next to Staples when you see this. I am pretty sure they had one in one of their tanks and the kid told me it was something like $30 for it.

ummm what?? this eel is reef safe and wont eat my inverts? I have been wanting an eel forever but everyone always tells me that no eel is reefsafe. if they are I will be ordering one ASAP.

They are reef safe. I guess they could eat the smallest of fish. Mine are in a 30 cube with lots of peppermint shrimps. These eels grow to a max of 8 to 10 inches. I feed mine salmon filet every 2 days. These guys are rare to find and when you do be prepared to pay around $200 give or take a few.

sweet, 200-400 is great 2000 would suck lol. I will start my long search to find one. I will pay on the spot if you know anyone.
