sps and softie question

is there any complication to having mostly softies and a sps coral? Thinking of adding a monti cap to my tank, do ya'll see any issues? Thanks.

I see no problem with that, as long as there is ample light for the sps.

What type of lighting system to you have? and how far from the bottom will the sps be?

I have PC in there now with 6.5 watts per gallon. I can add the sps on any level of the tank, it'll be in my 15 for now till the 30 is setup.

Well i would keep it near the top half of the tank and make sure it has enough room away from the softies. You probably know already softies grow like crazy.

yes this I do, but for any reason if the softies go near the sps, what would happen? I have xenia, zoos, colt and a bta.

mind you most of my softies are on the bottom part of the tank, and the plan was to put the monti cap up top.
