xm 250W 15K bulbs

anyone have experience with these bulbs? I'm thinking of replacing my current 20K bulbs with these. Thanks

Don't, less par. If your tank is full and you don't want growth, then go for it. Great color. PAR is in the 170s vs mid to upper 200's for the 20,000K. Seems backward but maybe due to the inner gases/compounds needed. Now if you really want growth, go for the 10,000K ones as those are in the 500's for PAR but most people want actinic supplementing with them. I had them and it is night and day on growth by jumping to the 10,000K ones.

Ive seen them and their not bad. I prefer the color of the 20K. If you do change, I think the slow down in growth would be so small you would never notice it. I would'nt be too worried about that.
