Hi Guys i have a glass 100 gallon aquarium, stand and hood that has been taking space in the living room for a year.

whats a good price to ask and who wants to make a reasonable offer for it


BTW: i am located in the van nuys area

NO....

but it was all brand new when i purchased it a year ago.

thestand/canopy are kinda like natural wood. the stand has 2 doors

Post pictures...That way you can sell it much faster. Unless you want it collecting dust.

Depends alot on the type of tank. Is it reef ready, Euro-braced, drilled, overflows, starfire glass, broad width??? If non of the above, then the going price is not very much.

For instance... a couple months ago I sold a 100 gallon tank and stand. It was not drilled, regular twin glass braces, regular glass, basically a typical general purpose tank with oak stand. It took me a couple months to find a buyer and finally had to let it go for $125 by throwing in some powerheads plus delivery.

If it is reef ready with all the other bells and whistles, you might be able to get anywhere between 50-75% of the original cost. I've personally never paid or sold a used tank for more than 50% of retail. JMHO
