who would cut acrylic?

Im trying to find someone that would cut acrylic for me. Glass cutting place? I dont know who would do it. IM located in NJ

just a general suggestion look up plastics in the yellow pages, most acylic shops are in there.

whats your application? you can cut it yourself if your not talking about making anything large. but like baffles or maybe an overflow is doable.

Acrylic can be cut w/ just about anything - bandsaw, hacksaw, power saw... I've used all of the above. So either you can cut it or find a friend or machine shop.

Score your cut, then I used a hacksaw to make some one inch cuts on each side. Break it off on the side of a table. If its just for a sump and doesnt have to be pretty it works very well. If you need to trim it more just score it again and use a pair of vice grips to break it off. I've broken off 1/8" and less with this method. hope that helps.
