Sounds like a bit too much light perhaps... Or a lack of a certain nutrient.

How much lighting do you have and where is the acan's placement?

It does sound like it's bleaching some. Can you show pictures? They do change under different Kelvin lighting but it should never be white/pale.

Are you feeding it?

placement is where it was when it was red/green.

its not pale. The green stripes have changed to white and its become orange. Its not bleaching. It was at the same spot it was when it was red/green.

Is under 80w PCs in a 10gal
