I am changing my 90 gal to a reef/fish tank. What is the BEST kind of substrate and a link to a website would be real helpful ;)
Also.... How many lbs. would I need? I see some of you with a LOT of it and some with a little, I have heard from the local guys that a little is best? Thoughts?

Southdown sand works pretty good for marine tanks.

Lowes carry southdown I believe. 100 lbs gave me a 2-3'' sandbed in my 75 gallon tank.

Home Depot carries it also, as for how many LBS it is up to you. You can add 150,100, 60 LBS. It is all what you want and like.

None of the Home depots in my area carry it. There is a lot of information here on sand selection.

There are two types of the southdown sand. Tropical (aragonite) and the regular (silica) and either will work. The aragonite is preferred for a number of reasons however.

My main gripe with "silica" sands is that if they get between your "MagFloat" and your glass, it will scratch your glass right now.
