I bought this from a reefer here on RC.
The tank is a glass 24 x 24 x 14 tall. No bracing needed, black plastic rims. The overflow for some reason was not sealed. So if the power goes off, it leaks slowly into the sump. No reason this can't be fixed with 5 $ worth of Silicone.
The tank is $45. I paid 50$ for it, but i'll throw in 10% off, due to needing new silicone.
I can come up with a picture, but if anyone want's a cheap , glass tank, with a corner overflow box and drilled for a 1" drain, this is a great opportunity. No holes drilled for returns, just hang those over the top.
Same tank would cost 140$ new at the LFS.
Thanks for the interest.

I am located in Laguna Niguel. The draining issue is due to the homemade overflow box. The previous owner placed it in, and when the pumps turn off... it slowly drains to the level of the standpipe, so the leak is occuring between the overflow box and the display area itself. I made a stand for it, but trashed it about 3 weeks ago. It was not the best quality, but it did the job.
I will work on posting a picture, Thought I had pics on a cd, gotta go take more.

Tank. 1/2 gallon water jug for reference

overflow hole, for 1 inch drain

Possible leak area. These holes are small, but I believe they are responsible for the drainage. Either a little silicone, or a larger sump should handle the issue.

Plastic rim. This is not pretty enough for a show tank. Some of the edging is dinged or nicked in places... This picture is a representative of the worst area of "scarring" on the plastic.

Tank is exactly as I bought it and was running fine as of 3 months ago. Thanks for the interest.

Dang, Ryan!

If it only fit in my tiny staircase, I'd be bringin' it home with me!:)

For those interested, it's a very simple patch-up job with silicone. Definitely worth it!

The patch job would be easy, I just don't have the right kind of silly-cone. I would say you can remove the whole overflow box and re-glue it, if you are up to it, or, run it with just a stand pipe. Heck , if you buy it, you can walk down the street, throw it up in the airand watch it fall for all I care :P It's not that expensive.... i am sure, many have spent more on fish that have lasted less than 48 hours. I am 100% positive, that watching this fall and crash would be more fun than watching a fish .. well, you get the idea .
