T5s anyone?

I have T5s 2X39. I would like to add light and I have heard T5s are inbetween VHOs and MHs. I would also like to something for color......My tank has a canopy on it and it is 35" wide on the inside dimension......kinda werd to fit something in. Any suggestions?
