Hi,
I just put some lights on my tank and for I suddenly noticed the scratches I have on the inside. They really stand out and I was wondering if this scratch remover would remove it. It says even works underwater.

Do you think its safe to use underwater?

Sorry if this is a dumb question

Thanks

The kit works great. I just wish they had one finer grade of paper say 16000. I have read that it is safe to use in the water and that it is not. I did not read that it wasn't until I had used it already. I did have a filter sock on while I used it. I only used the three finest papers in the tank and it worked very well. Their is a light haze under some light, that is why I wish they hade one grade finer paper. This fine haze can be buffed out with liquid polish on the outside easily, but not the inside. Much better then the scratches were! Anyone know where to get 16000 grit wet/dry or the equilivent?

Acrylic only not glass. I dont think there is any way of removing scratches from glass. At least thats what i've been told.

It comes with anti static spray which works pretty well. But it is not a polish.

Kurty: Thanks
I will be ordering some 12000 sheets from them if anyone else local wants some, let me know. I see they sell an aquarium for only $16.95

they have a complete restoral kit (NC-78 I think). I was gonna get one for the 60 gal. cube tank I'm making, but I went with marine depo's kit just so I can get it today.

What is the highest grit size that comes in the kit they sell at MD?

Steve, I may be interested in a 12"x12" sheet of the 12000 grit. When do you plan to order?

Thanks
Ben

If Marine depo's kit doesn't come with 12000 grit I'm in for one.
