You can, but they will probably not do very well or grow very fast if at all. You would need to locate them near the top of the tank to have any success. Most SPS are difficult to keep, but you can start with some inexpensive acropora, anacropors, or montipora until you get the hang of it.

SPS do best with strong flow and high light. They should do ok high up in the tank, but may brown a bit (lose nice coloration). Don't neglect the flow though!
