Ken,
They were all gone a few days after getting your CBB. I got to tell ya, he's a little bit big for my 120 so I thought I'd just keep him till all the aptasia were gone..This guy has so much personality that I just can't part with him. My wife has no interest in my tanks at all but this fish has really caught her eye. Its the only thing I've ever had in a tank that she actually likes.

I kind of hate to part with this Rabbitfish, him and your CBB are best friends. He's just too big for my taste.

He was one of my favorites also. I would also say he has more personality than a hawk fish too. When ever I had the camera out to take pictures of coral, he would find a way to get in front of the shot. Glad to here he worked for you. Be sure they are all gone as some of them hide between the rocks down low where the CCB cant get to them....... yet!

PS, I just noticed that he got into your rabbit fish shot also

Beautiful fish!

Ken,
He's is a ham, that's for sure, plus he eats just about anything you throw in the tank. Got to love a CBB that does that.

Mark,
Thanks for the Fish. He looks real good in my tank. He started eating last night at 7:00. This morning he is swimming all over. Thanks again.

What is a CBB?

golfish,
IF you decide to get rid of the CBB, I'd be more than happy to take him. I need a good one for my 400 as I'm having a apstia outbreak and the peppermint shrimp are not doing the job. Let me know. Thanks.

Mark,

Good to see you got it a good home. I see the taker was from Long Beach. He could've dropped the CBB and picked up the Rabbit all in one shot had the timing been right.
Good to see the Rabbit ate algae. Mine barely pecks at it. I always find the carnivorous ones!:(

Roland,
After talking with Norm it seems that he lives about 10 feet from Ken. Norm doesn't recall meeting Ken but it sure would have worked out for both of us.

blown63chevy,
I'll put you on the list;) there's about 5 people ahead of you that want this fish. My wife likes it so its going to be hard to get rid of.

Mark, sorry to say I don't know Norm unless he has been to one of the Long Beach meetings and I wasn't paying attention. Then again, I haven't gone lately either

Did I tell you I need to approve any transfer of ownership of that fish. ;) I have a chip in him!

Ken,
I think you guys should get together, seeing how he lives next door.

I almost gave him to Eric, then Steve, then Roland...then my wife stepped in a said she wanted me to keep it. He's got so much personality that I had to agree with her.

I even went to Trader Joe's and bought his favorite food.

Mark... I'd love that fish but I don't think I could deal with the pressure. Someone would have to show me how to feed fish again.

Really... my tanks are to small for a fish that size. I'll try a WC small one again. The peppermint shrimp seem to be attacking the pests in the SPS tanks so I'm happy for now.

Steve,
Have you tried zapping them with kalk paste? That worked a few times for me.

Glad to here your spoiling the fish as much as I did. :)

Steve, you could just put him in the BK as I think it's almost big enough!

golfish,
No problem. ;) I want to get one but am worried about their sucess rate from the LFS. I offered up my tank as this one seems to have a pedigree and is a happy camper and I have a large tank for him to swim in.

I didn't know there were others in line and I definatly understand the wife thing. I had to drive 120 miles round trip to get a healthy blue hippo tang for her. ;)

Good luck with him and I'll keep looking. I've got some peppermint shrimp in the tank now but they don't seem to be doing the job. Joe's juice dosen't seem to work for me plus I can't reach them all. Tank is 2 1/2 feet wide and 3 feet deep and I have short arms. ;)

B-63-C...The shrimp should work if you get the right ones. For me though they seem to only last a few months at best. IIRC some come from cooler waters and don't seem to do as well at temps around 80 long term.

Ken... my biggest tank is 72" x 12" x 12" (4 of them) so any fish needs to be real small. A sailfin tang about the size of a silver dollar, small rabbit fish and a few yellow damsels is about all I have for fish.

Steve,
I put 4 of them in the tank but haven't seen them since. I also have not seen any of my apstaia disapear either. But it's a big tank w/ about 400 lbs of LR so it may take a while. Or I just need more shrimp. ;)

Also for anyone else reading this thread looking for a scribbled rabbitfish. I was in Tat's in ventura last night and they have one there for sale. Just an FYI.
