lighting a sump

I want to grow some chaeto in my sump. Will standard floroescent lighting or evan incandescannt be ebnough to grow chaeto?

I would use a good plant grow light will have the right spectum of light. Depending on the size of the tank a 40 watt bulb should be fine.
