Was present when OceanPro opened up a new delivery of deepwater shelf-rock the quality of which impressed the owner & employee. Got first pick of two medium pieces, and after curing for 5 weeks, find that I can only use one of these. Can't see smashing it into rubble for my fuge, its such a nice piece and everybody seems to be on the lookout for slab-shaped LR. Its 9x9x1-1/2" and fully cured, 3 lbs 3oz. $12

I also have 23 lbs of med-large base rock at $1/lb. Very porous.

is the base rock cured?

Well, in the sense that its dry and clean of any life, no odors or sign of anything biological. Won't have to quarantine or cure, can go straight in; will take a few months w/ seeding w/ other live rock to mature. Porous, should be good size and shape for base of rockwork.

Correction; just weighed the base rocks again and I have 37 lbs available. There is more than shown in the pict.
