250 watt 10K Coralvue Reef flux bulbs in St Louis
I've got 3 250 watt 10K Coralvue Reef flux bulbs for sale in St Louis- These bulbs have 6 days on them....I thought they would be a tad bluer than they are so I'm going back to something a little bluer- prolly 14K again. Local buyers have priority- $55 a piece or $150 for all 3....

Kent, if you like the reeflux, have you seen that they have a 12K bulb now? A thread that talks about them and has pics:

Yeah I think that's what I should have gotten- Since my tank is mostly LPS and fosties, I don't need the insane par...

One person on there posted in another thread their first pics with the lights and they were really blue. I believe they got less so after they burned in for awhile.

So are they to blue or not enough blue?

They're not blue at all...just pure white. Nice and crisp for a 10K but since It's more or less a Softy/LPS tank, I like the sort of deeper water, dimmer bluish tint that higher Kelvins give. The 14K hamiltons I had were perfect.

I have the Coralvue 14k and I like them very much.Perfect balance between blue and white.
