Here is a picture of the clam when I first bought it. It was beautiful

Now the clam is fading and I'm not sure why. The clam is right next to my toadstool, which was touching for a while until I moved it away. The clam is also next to my monti and they're touching. I noticed the fading when the toadstool started to invade the clams space but since moving the toadstool the clam's color has not improved????

The pictures are the the greatest, sorry. Has this happed to anyone? Please help.

Cesar,
Mine has started to do the same thing. I thought it was because I am testing different lighting. I am interested to see what anyone else thinks.

i have a Crocea that i recently moved- it was partially covered by another clam's mantle. only the part that was shaded is faded- the rest of the mantle is still bright blue. i moved it about two weeks ago and it looks like the color is coming back already. maybe yours just needs more time.

I moved the toadstool 2 weeks ago and haven't seen any improvement. I'm not sure if the cap is irritating it.
