Becket skimmer help.

I have a 48" aerofoamer clone and want to upgrade my pump to a Little Giant Pump (TE-6-MD-SC) 38GPM. Could my becket handle the flow and pressure? Please help before I purchase the pump.

I have a Gen X 55HP on my MRC MR 2 which is about 24 inches total height, and about 1300 GPH pressure rated. Considering that your skimmer is twice the size I would say you would be okay, remember that you wil have drastically reduced flow due to the beckett itself, and you will be injecting more and finer bubbles with more pressure from your pump. Worst comes to worst you could a second injector, a riser, or T off your Little Giant, but I don't think it would be a problem. HTH
