Chemi-pure vs. carbon

Anyone with an opionion regarding the use of Chemi-pure vs. activated carbon?

That's a good question, I would like to see what people about this as well.

I've been using Chemi-Pure for my 75G Reef instead of carbon, the water is crystal clear, PH has been extremely stable. I use 2 pouches for the tank and change them every 3 months, although it states the pouches remain active for up to 6 months.

I use Chemipure as filtration for the effluent from my protein skimmer running ozone and it does seem to do a good job.

The bag will be wet when you take it from the container and I just rinse it slighty with RO water before putting it in the sump.

The only place I use dry activated carbon is the air output from the same skimmer running ozone.
