ARO Electronic Ballasts

I have the 150/175W electronic ARO ballast. Works great. Also ballast is small and cool to the touch.

I have 2 ARO electronic ballast. One running a 250watt MH and another running 2x 140 watt VHO bulbs. Work perfect! Cool to touch and very reliable. HTH

I havnt used the MH ballast but I used the ARO vho ballast for a couple years with NO problems.

I had one fail, after only 6 months, they told me to take back where I bought it, I did and they replaced it with an Ice Cap.

So now I am running one of each, the other one is still running fine

I've got a dead ARO 175w MH ballast sitting in the closet. I emailed them when it died and told them it was under a year old. 2 days later I got a reply asking me to call and give them some # they included in the email. I never botherd...

I had run dual 175's for a little over a year, and now dual 250 ARO's over a year. Never one problem, very compact & cool running. Also dead slient.

I think I still have mine. It died after two years - I took it as a sign to move up to 250mh and bought an IceCap instead.
