I dont have a sump (but would be interested in a custom one, anyone out there?) so im looking for a hang on for a 60g. I've only used the coralife super skimmer on my previous 20g and was happy with it, but the set up is tricky with water heigth.
so the problem is I have the eheim 2229 wet dry inthere that makes the water level rise and fall by 1-2 inches. So I'm not sure if the coralife super skimmer is going to be ablw to work with it. the one I have now doesnt fit the tank so i cant try it out.
I bought the remora pro and have that running, but its way too loud with the injection spray in my bedroom. So, i'm sellin git on ebay right now. I'm thinking I need needle wheel tech again.
Anyone like the red sea berlins? I like how you can hook ozone up to it easy--I may just have to try a mid size coralife and see how it goes. but, i'd really like to have a custom sump made ( 15.5" x15.5" x 18")and go with a great brand skimmer----
