View Full Version : Any problems attaching spa flex to Sch 40 pvc??

I seen a few tanks with spa flex glued into sch 40 slip pvc. How well does this hold up any one got any experence one way or another with this?

Works perfectly. It's made to be used with pvc fittings.

be sure to use glue set for both flex and rigid, and not "only rigid" pvc. As a pool guy, I've seen too many times where some glue wont hold flex to rigid. Hope this helps...Good luck...

My glue dos not say any thing about flex. it is the standard medium blue pvc cement.

Check on this page. http://www.savko.com/partlist.asp?pgid=8 The 4th glue down is the stuff you need. After it dries, it stays somewhat flexible. Works perfectly on standard Sch 40 fittings.
