Chillers

I'm having a lot of trouble keeping my 125 gal reef tank temp down. I'm using fans now but I expect in the summer I'll be in trouble. I'm thinking about getting a chiller but I'm not sure what's out there. I've heard that chillers are very noisy and cost a lot. What has been your experience with chillers ? Any recommendations on types/brands etc. Thanks, Dave D

Dave,
They do cost a lot and they can make some noise. I can't help you with the cash issue, nobody said this hobby was cheap. The noise probelm can be solved by putting the chiller outside. Their heat exchangers, so the heat they remove gets thrown back in the area where their located.

I'd like my Aqua Logic chiller..I also like the Tradewinds chillers.
