no the light will not stress your fish. It's not a ton of light anyway. What tank is it going on and what is in it now?

you might get algae for a bit but you shouldnt. it would be due to other circumstances.

hi all

thinking of changing from normal flouresence 2 a 4 bulb T5 setup so i can keep mainly soft corals, my question is...

what should i expect when changing from normal flouresence 2 T5 MY T5 SET UP WILL BE A 4 BULB EACH BULB 39W (sorry 4 the caps)

eg: will i get more algea
will my fish be stressed with the extra light?

the light will be going on my 3ft 3in tank 40gal
i have in the tank 2 orellis clowns and a yellow tank, i have some mushrooms growing aswell :)
