Electronic MH Ballasts

Is it true that you can run either SE or DE MH bulbs on a electronic ballast? Has anyone used the ARO electronic ballast and if so any problems? Also wondering if there is a problem with electronic ballasts and the Neptune controllers??? Thought I read a post somewhere about a possible conflict between the 2?

I have ran my aquaqconnect se as well as my krystalstar de on my icecap electronic 400 watt ballast at different times, so the answer is yes.
