Crab catching

[Long Time Beginner]

I know this gets asked all the time but I can't get search to work this morning.

I have an emerald crab that I caught picking on one of my leathers the other day. Since the, I've noticed a couple more small chunks missing out of the leather so the crab has to go.

I often go a week or more between crab sitings and when I do see him, he's usually peeking out of some impossible to reach crevice. How do I catch him?

Try putting some food in a glass jar and place the rim next to some rocks so he can walk in easily. Once in, the slick sides will keep him in until you can remove the jar.
