also i have the standard 55 gallon tank

its 4 foot long , something like 18 inches tall and im wanting to use this skimmer as a hang on skimmer

is the 150 to LONG to use as a hang on skimmer in my tank ,

the 100 might be to long

i know tha the 150 is 25 inches high , which is taller than a 55 gallon tank , but im sure the skimmer will stick above the 55 some

will a 150 work on a 55 like mine ?

I don't recommend Seaclone(clown) Seaclone does not work very well, doesn't take much skimmate and tends to overflow.

i have a prizm on a 55 and i need something else... try to find a remoro...
for the money... you can find something better.

Spend $13 over your budget and get a Remora.

BTW, I don't think SeaClones are worthless. The collection cups are worth saving from the trashcan. ;)

or go under budget and get a used remora or a used bak-pak and modify it

Those are probably the HOT from Deltec or something. I've always heard good things about Remoras as well. You can also look into a Coralife Super Skimmer, but the Remora may be better.
