I recently got an already established 20 gallon setup from someone else (about 2 weeks ago). Have been having no problems until now.
The blenny (lawnmower?) is looking kind of whitish, anemic and very thin. I just ran some tests:
Salinity is ok
Temp is 79 F
Nitrites are 0
Nitrates are 40 ppm.
Of course I am concerned about the nitrates. Should I get ready to do a large water change? I just did one last week, but this tank is light on the live rock, and maybe Ive been overfeeding. Looking for advice!
