tunze heater cords

Any of you guy know very much about these heater cords? I now have a 550-600 gl system and need a great heater. My sumps are down stairs and need good heat. I looked at the wongs and don't trust them.dennis

I don't know anything about those (although I think tunze is a quality brand), but I use those titanium heaters from ViaAqua for three of my systems (they have fairly large ones-- I believe up to 800 watts). For my large system in the workshop (=cold) I simply use two of them. They have external controllers and separate temperature sensors. I have found them to be accurate and precise, unlike many other heaters--the two heaters in the large system usually go on and off at the same time, with the temp. reading on a separate thermometer staying dead on 80F. Anyway, as you can probably understand, I wouldn't trust my systems with heaters I thought were unreliable!
