I removed the thread relating to this vendor that was recently posted. I asked the thread starter several times to give some indication as to how the company named wronged him in any way. I could not decipher any connection. The fact that two businesses share some owners does not make them the same business. I am partners in several businesses, and I assure you that partners in some know nothing about the operations of the others.
If the thread starter wants to voice a complaint in this forum, it needs to be somewhat understandable and directed at the appropriate party.

It wasn't some owners that it shared but the same owner. He said the same guy was owner of both business's and both business's were at same location one a store front and one a on-line front for the same business. The thing I think he was trying to get across was they came in made changes to his set up charged him for changes, and then began to tell him that they would have to increase cost in fees etc. to service his tank because it was the only service job that they had way out his way. They also left a mess in his front room and did not return 2 weeks later to do the job that they were to do. I think it went like that.....LOL.

I am going to try to explain this again. Saltwater Paradise is a retail Saltwater only store in Irving, Texas. We sell fish, corals, drygoods and tanks. We have been here for over 6 years. Extreme Corals is a online Corals only business. They are seperate companies. I own Saltwater Paradise 100%. Extreme Corals, I am a partial owner in. They are not locateed in the same storefornt , but they located in the same strip mall. This customer contracted Saltwater Paradise to do work for him, which was performed, also work was done for free that I was not contracted for. At NO TIME did I ever try to raise any prices, I only charged more money for parts(MY COST) to redo plumbing. As far as the maintenenance I did not try to raise the prices, I told the customer that it would not be economically feasible for ME or HIM for me to service his tank. I did recommend two companies that were closer, That I had confindence in. When this customer complain on this forum he continued to refer to Extreme Corals, and I just stated that he had never done ANY business with Extreme Corals. I just dont think it is fair if I was to own a Mcdonalds and partially owned a Burger King for a customer to slander Burger King. Besides the point he has never stated what he is unhappy with, just that Extreme Corals is a rip off even though he has never bought ONE thing from Extreme Corals. As far as any problems he may have with Saltwater Paradise, never did he call me, email me anything asking me to do anything or that he was unhapp and need or wanted something done. He just posted that EXtreme Corals was a rip off. If you were to read that it would clearly seem that a coral or corals that I sold him were a rip off since that is all Extreme Corals does is sell corals over the internet. I also have repeatly offered to do whatever I need at Saltwater Paradise to make this customer happy, but he will not or does not have anything that he needs done? The monly complaint I could understand on here was it took me three days to put his tank together. Again I will state the first day I went looked at his tank plumbling was not correctly done by previous company, Offered for free to return the next day and redo it, the third day had to come back to replace broken bulkheads that were already installed before i ever got there. Only on the first day was I being paid, the two subsquent days I was doing this for free exect for the cost of parts. Thank you for your time-Scott Saltwater Paradise

Extreme Corals a rip off. You have got to be kidding me!!!!
I have purchased from them at least five times and if I had a problem or there was a misunderstanding Scott will do whatever is necessary to make you happy. I received some corals that were delayed by FedEx and after a month they did not make it. Scott emailed me and called each week to see how they were doing. After a month he replaced the corals (over $300.00)without me even asking. He is one of the fairest people I have ever dealt with anywhere.
