I was just wondering how long you guys run your reactors? 24/7 or just a few hours a day? By the way I'm using the PhosBan media not RowaPhos. Thanks

Do it slowly. Don't want coral to go into shock.

Yup, slowly. Run 24/7 but at about 1/10th the rate that was recommended in the manual. If after several days to a week you still measure trace phosphate or just want to 'turn it up a notch' then slowly increase flow. Got my unit from Custom Aquatic for about $30 or so.

What media are you guys running? The Two Little Fishie's PhosBan media sure is touchy when it comes to flow. Dissolves to easy.

Two Little Fishes. Basic unit but gets the job done. $35 from Custom Aquatic and came with 150g of PhosBand. Have some Rowaphos I'll use when the Phosband runs out.
