Ballast is a 175W Electronic Icecap.

I just bought a 175W 10k Coralvue bulb and although it says "175 W E39 10000K" on the box, it also says 250W all over the box. My question is Is this a 175W bulb or 250W bulb or both?

If it is both should I be getting more blue light when I light it up using a 250 W ballast instead of a 175W ballast. Also it seems very yellow compared to my XM 20K although it is a 20k the light, it still seems just slightly different more white from say my torch lamp instead of anywhere near my old 20k XM. I've heard these look like they are in the 14k to 12k look typically. I know this has not been burned in yet but I still had more blue expectations.

Also I am feeling a little more weary because the only part that says "175W..." is just a sticker and there is also something that is blacked out in magic marker on the "attention" warning now.

Comments would be helpful.

Thanks

Richard
