I was wondering about how to go about introducing a bubble tip anemone into your reef tank successfully? do you drip it in? how long? should you keep the lights off for 24 hours after introduced?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Alan,
Are you SURE you want an Anemone?

Alan,

Larry makes a good point, anemones can be difficult to keep. Since you posted this in the new to the hobby forum, I assume you are a new reefer. This could make keeping an anemone even more tricky.

Exactly what I was thinking Griss, Great minds think alike! ;)
There are alternatives to an Anemones that Clown fish take to.
Could we interest you in looking into going that route??

M an interesting one someone posted recently was a Feather Duster worm. Also clowns will occasionally adopt a Euphyllia species coral. Some have even observed clowns adopting Caulerpa sp. as a host.
