How do I choose who I want to build my Custom starphire tank?

I'm very interested in having a custom Starphire 120 gallon tank built.

With all of the bad experiences I read about how do I choose?

All the time I read the same thing, the person is very late on delivery,Bad silicone Job,Didn't do what I wanted, Never returned my phone calls.

Is there anyone out there that makes extremely good tanks and is a great business person?

Call Derek at Miracles. I had a custom 240 built by them recently and they did a beautiful job. Many other on RC will say the same thing.

I actually was going to call them. A lot of people on RC have said great things about them.

How far would I have to drive to get the tank? Is delivery to my door a option?

Check out Aquariums for You - they are in New Jersey and you might be able to avoid freight charges. They built a 125 gallon starphire tank for me and the quality is amazing. They also offer a 10 year guarantee if you have it on their furniture.

They will ship it to your door. You just need to get it off the truck and into your house. They do great work. Took about 4 weeks from start to finish. 1 week to have it shipped from Canada to Ct.

I agree with calling Derek @ "Miracles in Glass" They are currently building a new glass aquarium for me to replace my "scratched" up old acrylic... Here is an in progress shot of it. They even pre-drilled at least 12 holes for me for the closed loop and return. I opted for a rear overflow box as you can see leqaving more room in the aquarium for display.
