What pump for ETSS Super Reef Devil?

I just ordered an ETSS Super Reef Devil Protein Skimmer and it comes w/ a RIO 1800 pump. I've heard alot of negative things about using RIO pumps for skimmers so should I opt for a different pump? Or would this pump be sufficient for it? Anyone has used the RIO1800 w/ their Reef Devil before?

I was thinking about getting a Mag7 for it instead, is this too weak/strong? Anyone has the reef devil and what pumps do you guys use for it?

A mag would be a good idea. A mag 5 or 7 would be ok and I would put a valve on the pump before the skimmer just in case you need to bakc it down. The mag pumps are better and more reliable than the rio is. Not much more $$$ anyhow...
