Acan Lord placement

Hey,

I recently purchased a few frags of acan lords. They are in my 20g tank with a 175W 20K XM metal halide. where at should I put the frags? I had them directly under it, it the colors started to fade a bit so I put them off to the side, not under the light directly.

Where do you guys have your acan lords?

cj congrats on the acan bug biting you lol. lords are pretty flexable with placement. ive got colonys from 3/4 of the way up to right off the sandbed. your lord is probably bleaching a bit from the lighting change. imo you did the right thing in moving it out of direct lighting. you can supplement buy feeding. once its settled in and has its color back you can slowly start to move it out of the shade.

I've been feeding them every other day. Its funny how the feeder tentacles come out only at night, or when I shut off the flow for the tank.

I think it did start to bleach a bit, but they are doing great and colored back up. I think I am going to keep them where they are right now unless they lose color.
