Hi all,

I had a thought while scraping off the mass amount (and I mean hundreds) of snail eggs off my glass. Would the removal of so many snail eggs all at once possibly cause water quality to decrease?

I doubt it. They were in the water anyway and will probably be eated in short order.

Amazingly my supply of hitchhiker mini turbos has quadrupled. I haven't seen any baby astrea or margarita snails. I usually just let all the snails go and do their thing on the other three wall of the tank, and just clean the front wall regularly. But the corraline growth really becomes unsightly, so I scrape all of them every month or so. I just had that thought because they are alive while they are still eggs, and when I scrape them off they die. If you scraped off enough of them all at once, why wouldn't they possibly cause the same reaction as any other creature dying in the tank?
