PC VHO MH on 40g tank. I'm told all i will need is a two bulb PC light. What do you guys think?

depends on what kind of corals you want to keep. But I'd go VHO all the way!!!

Well, depends on what you want. Eveyone loves MH here. I like them, but i also think for ther money, VHO is just as good. I would look into a VHO set from HELLOLIGHTS.com

I am getting a 2vho set for a 75 gallon there for around 150. If you look into NO strips, a double 48 inch one is 90 bucks, so i would rather spend the extra 60 bucks for 3 times the light.

If i were you, pick what you like best. Between VHO and Power compacts, they are the same, just a little diffrent look. As for HM, they are a little better, but generat alot more heat and cost alot more to setup.

Personally, i would go with 2-36inch VHO's or 2-55watt Compacts.
