hey guys,
well, i finally broke down and got corals for my tank.

actually, i got two.

the first is a millepora sp. fire coral, which is what i really wanted.

i also got a favia coral, also apparently called a pineapple coral.

from what i understand, both of these are relatively bullet proof (as far as corals go).

i'll post some pics later. i wanted more, but i figure i better see how corals like my tank...and how my flame angel likes corals (fingers crossed).

can i be part of your club now ? :)

doesn't it figure? my camera battery died....i'll get some up this evening though for sure.

you know, i wasn't going to do corals...i can sort of see the attraction though. it adds a whole new dimension to my tank.

nice corals, my bicolor angel picked on my green favia, so be careful, and keep an eye on your coral and fish! Good luck, and welcome to the hobby.

no, it's just sitting on there. it's fairly sturdy. i don't want to epoxy it on until i see if it's happy in this spot.

i'm a bit worried about my fish nipping at my favia. i'm thinking of trading it in for something not so tasty like another fire coral.

i like it, but i didn't realize how many fish find lps yummy.
